Meet Author & PD Expert Judy Bradbury - CTLE Professional Development
Judy Bradbury is coordinating the Expo Educator Event, a three-hour NYS-approved CTLE opportunity taking place from 8am-11am at the Expo. Judy is an author and literacy specialist who provides professional development workshops across the country. She has over twenty-five years of teaching experience ranging from Pre-K through college. Her books include Empowering Families: Practical Ways to Involve Parents in Boosting Literacy, The Read-Aloud Scaffold: Best Books to Enhance Content Area Curriculum, the Children's Book Corner series, and the Christopher Counts picture book series. Judy has penned a monthly column on character education for LibrarySparks and contributed regularly to Children's Writer and Writer's Guide. She has received awards from the New York State Reading Association and the Niagara Frontier Reading Council, for whom she is CTLE/Professional Development Chair. The WNY Children's Book Expo will take place from 10am-3pm at the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center on November 10, 2018. Educators can register for a 4 Hour CTLE Workshop that will run from 8am-noon.
​
Fifteen children's authors and illustrators will participate. Swag bags filled with a bounty of educational materials, a children's book, AND a $20 coupon to spend on books at the Expo will be distributed to all registrants, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Medaille College.

The Expo Educator Event sold out last year, so plan to register early for this amazing opportunity to meet a line-up of award-winning children's authors and illustrators! (Advance registration only. No walk-ins.)
